Welcome New HTHMA Families and Welcome Back Seasoned HTHMA Families!
The HTHMA Parent Association (PA) has a mission to help Director Rachel Nichols and the HTHMA staff by providing support, service and money so that our students can continue to have amazing, project-based learning experiences by:
- Subbing at the front desk when staff can't be there.
- Providing food for our hardworking teachers on busy nights (Open House, Exhibitions, etc.)
- Maintaining and fulfilling the Teachers' Wish List through parent & community donations.
- Volunteering at HTHMA and HTH Village events.
- Fundraising to support in-class, hands-on projects!
Check the Teacher Wish List periodically for items needed for classroom projects. If you would like to help provide materials, you can purchase them directly (using our Amazon link is another way to help!), arrange for a corporate donation, or find another creative way to help!
Participate in fundraisers by registering for eScrip and/or using our PA Amazon link to do your shopping (recognizing the emotional and financial tolls fundraising can take on our diverse population, HTHMA makes an effort to choose "passive" fundraisers, where the HTHMA PA gets a percentage of sales from items that our families would normally buy.)
Attend monthly Parent Association meeting to find out what's going on and see if any of our projects are a good fit for your schedule. Meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm in the main HTHMA conference room.
Volunteer to take an open PA positions for the school year! Some positions have light duties throughout the year and others are "single event" positions, such as the Gift Cards fundraiser.
